Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, dependent on the item type.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools to add attribute bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. The item being upgraded must be equipped with an upgrade slot to accept the component, and the majority of upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above the specified level. Certain upgrade items come with special visual effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from Karma merchants, or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.
Various upgrade components are available, each providing an individual bonus. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, and enrichments are used for some items that have been ascended. Injecting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item, while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia could change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an item will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures and fractions, as well as ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses and swashes as well as swashes. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters as well as regular glyphs like em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. It also includes up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by additional bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for in that every weapon, jewelry or armor piece has a different set of available Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The Glyph that is created will grant its stated bonus, and also boost other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus when certain conditions are fulfilled.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by choosing an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the options to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to pull the character or weapon you are interested in. This can aid in your progress to higher levels or to gain better loot, such as the best weapon for your current character. Many players will repeat the roll until the character they desire is available, regardless of its ability. This could be due to the fact that they like the design or personality.
When you reroll, you need to ensure that the changes you are making are clean. read article should check locally if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev check. Upload the patch with a clear difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, based on your luck. To save time, avoid enemy camps that are optional during this period. You should also avoid re-doing quests that you can complete later on in the game. This will save time and energy.
When rerolling, it is essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. This could include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and purchasing upgrades. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling isn't necessary, but it is an option to increase the chances of acquiring the right character or weapon. It can be helpful if you're looking for the most effective character in the game or if you're looking to try different play styles and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection with 2 common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations like intersection, union, and difference.

When you upgrade a set item, it becomes an upgraded version that is better than the previous one. This means that the weapon and armor will have a greater defense value and less strength requirements.
Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets up to parity with those in higher-tier sets. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.
It's important to remember that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already exceptional and elite in their own right and don't require upgrading. Some items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may be benefited by an upgrade to improve their performance. For these kinds of items, it could be worth the extra expense to upp them.
